The Your Brain on Art project very readily spoke to Ingrid’s personal experience with friends and family affected by brain health issues and particularly Julie Joyce’s work involving brain stimulation for post-concussive syndrome. A family member has hugely benefited from exercise following a concussion.

In her home studio Ingrid enjoys offering her art expertise to visitors young and old and particularly encouraging creative processes in the young. Her favourite thing to do is offer a box of various materials to a youngster and to encourage them to see what happens using their imagination. It is the process that matters not the product.
